i love it when people speak in urdu and assume that i do not understand what they are saying.

oh yes, that happens to me all the time, since I am supposed to be this "American' girl.
I let them talk to their heart's content before i reply... its alwaya funny to see how their face color changes when you speak fluently back to them :)

when i am speaking urdu i just let it go, you know?
telling stories about getting wedgies and swirlies in grade school...stories of lost loves...you know, the full shabang.
then of course, my favorite...singing 'Hey Mickey' in urdu.

Hahaha..the same happens when people talk in pashto thinking that i can't understand em but when they're done with sharing whatever "secrets" they wanted to then i reply to em leave em all like huhhh!!
Gawd they look so satooopidddd..their expressions are so funny..lol=D

happened wid me once - in college a black dude (kinda like bob marley) was walking and I made a comment in hindi "sala dekh kaisa dikhta hai" - guess wat he turns around and starts speaking in hindi - (fuck was my reaction) - went on to explain he is from guyana and had indian neighbours all his life.....(happens the other way around too)
